Monday (Day 1) Overview

So, we all know that yesterday was...well, a Pain In The A$$. Literally, my sciatic pain was so bad, and I can't figure out what the trigger was. But I decided to go to Yoga, and that was the best decision of the day. Have I told you how much I LOVE Yoga?  LOVE IT!!! There was a lot of moves and positions that I had to modify to keep the pressure off my lower back/hips/butt. But, it really helped loosen me up. I know it wasn't smart, but I did get into a crow arm balance. I was so proud of myself. Then I tried standing, and realized I should have probably waited for another day to try that one. Denise, the Yoga instructor spent some time after class stretching me out, and showing me a few stretches that should help. I've felt it. I just love her, and I'm honored to take classes under her.

Calories Consumed - 1485
Calories Burned - 560

Yes, I was at the top of my caloric intake, but it was so hard NOT to snack!!!! ugh!
And I went for that short jog that really made my sciatic hurt, and then Yoga, so that's why my Calories burned was so high.

Sounds like yoga was just what you needed. Hope your pain goes away soon!
